About the role:This role is based at the Company`s Peterborough office and will involve assisting in the overall preparation and submission of detailed design and co-ordination of building services solutions, including Low Voltage Distribution, Small Power, Communications, Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, Lighting Protection, instrumentation and control.Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-Producing scheme design drawings for CAD.-Liasing with suppliers to gain expert knowledge.-Interpreting project requirements.-Preparing project programme for design/pre-construction.-Knowledge of current Machinery Safety Regulations and generating safety related system designs.-Assisting in the production of cost plans and pre-tender estimates.-Provide ideas for continuous improvement of business.The Individual:To be successful for this role, you will need to be a bright, outspoken individual with good organisational skills. We are current have an immediate requirements for coded pipefitter/ welders, experienced in MMA and TIG welding processes in both Carbon and Stainless steel.The successful candidate will be working on various sites and industries throughout the UK. An excellent numeration package will be offered.
- Capable of welding to EN 2871- class one having served the appropriate training to recognised industrial standards or NVQ Level 3 (or an equivalent).
- Recent and or current weld codes/ certification would be advantageous, but not essential as weld testing would be required at our Training centre.
- The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Capability to work on own initiative and as part of a larger installation team.
- Typically working on steam, pneumatics hot/ cold water services and hygienic process pipework’s of various diameters to high standards.
