Meet the Vogal Group Team: Trevor King

As our Commercial Manager, Trevor plays a pivotal role in our business. He ensures our M&E projects deliver commercially sound and contractually compliant outcomes for both Vogal Group and our Customers.

Before joining Vogal Group, Trevor held a senior procurement role in a major agri-food business. He was also actively involved with CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. His experience includes negotiating capital contracts across 15 European countries, the USA, and China. This global exposure sharpened his expertise in the legal intricacies of engineering contracts, making him a perfect fit for Vogal Group.

Trevor joined on a two-year contract, 12 years ago, little did he know he’d become indispensable. Our MD, Rob Gault, still refuses to let him retire — and for good reason. Working closely with our Contract Managers and Customers, Trevor ensures our M&E projects are built on solid commercial foundations. He also delivers in-house commercial training — but that’s a story for another post. His remit spans:

⭐ Contract negotiation and administration.
⭐ Risk management and legal liability.
⭐ Bids, tenders, and procurement strategy.

Trevor also leads our partnership with Greater Peterborough UTC. They are a specialist STEM education provider helping students gain the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to launch engineering careers. This includes a strong focus on engineering apprenticeships. Additionally, he heads our engagement with the ECITB, where we proudly hold the ECITB Skills and Training Charter.
