ECITB Consultation Meeting

Our Commercial Manager, Trevor King, recently attended an ECITB stakeholder consultation meeting. They are seeking views on their proposed strategy for the period 2026-2030.

The ECITB Skills and Training Charter provides the opportunity for employers, to affirm their commitment to the skills development of their workforce. This is achieved by signing a pledge. The ECITB works in partnership with clients, contractors, government and other partners. This ensures confidence that workers in the engineering construction industry (ECI) carry out their role safely, competently and efficiently.

We are holders of the ECITB Skills and Training Charter and fully support this initiative. We identify the training and development needs of the Vogal Group workforce and set these out in a plan of action. This ensures our future workload needs are met by building capability into our workforce. We also plan for future capacity needs and recruit and train sufficient individuals to meet current and future workload requirements. We are also committed to recruiting and training new entrants into the industry through our apprenticeship scheme.
