Engineering Apprenticeship Testimonial

National Apprenticeship Week Day 3 is here. It is a nationwide initiative uniting employers and talent to champion the vital role apprenticeships play in driving personal growth and economic prosperity. We’re spotlighting engineering apprentices who have benefited from the Vogal Group apprenticeship program and gained vocational skills that have fuelled their subsequent success.

Arturs Suna completed his mechanical apprenticeship with Vogal Group. He is now a successful self-employed welder, working on some fantastic engineering projects. During his apprenticeship he learnt to cut, shape, and join metal to construct, assemble, and repair components and structures. Through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom study, he developed practical skills in metalworking, technical proficiency with machinery, and knowledge of engineering standards.
