We completed an industrial mechanical services project involving the installation of gas meters for industrial boilers at a manufacturing facility in North Yorkshire. The work adhered strictly to all safety regulations and UK standards. This installation enables the customer to accurately monitor gas usage for each boiler, optimising energy management and cost control.

This industrial mechanical services project involved modifying the existing gas infrastructure for three boilers. The work encompassed:

⚙️ Conducting live taps on two sets of gas pipes to install new purge points.
⚙️ Gas isolation and purging of all three boilers.
⚙️ Welding new flanges to three sets of gas feed pipes for modification.
⚙️ Installing new flow meters within the gas pipework.
⚙️ Performing strength and pressure testing.
⚙️ Providing all necessary certifications.
⚙️ Ensuring the operational handover of all boilers upon work completion.

During a scheduled 8-hour Sunday boiler outage, our industrial mechanical services team successfully executed all required tasks in 6 hours. This allowed restoration of steam production ahead of schedule.
