Mechanical Contractor Feedback

Feedback is vital for us because it drives continuous improvement, ensures technical quality, and fosters a culture of growth and collaboration. We’re always keen to hear our customers’ perspective on our performance, including any highlights or areas that need improvement. These insights are invaluable for our review and future planning.

We recently completed a mechanical contractor task to install a gear and pinion system in a heavy machinery asset. This involved precise alignment and correct adjustment to ensure correct operation for our agri-food sector customer. After successful completion, we received the following feedback from the customers’ Project Manager:

“I was very impressed with the mechanical contractor work. Constant updates from your team, on the ground, made it very easy to monitor progress of the job. Your Contract Manager and Engineering Supervisor were great at forward planning. They always asked ahead for anything needed, such as scaffolding or a second engineering opinion.

The previous experience of your team, having done similar mechanical contractor work, played a big part in the smooth delivery of this project for us. Their willingness to share knowledge was great for our team to understand our new piece of plant. It was also good to see you used our preferred machine shop for the works, This allowed us to be close to the works and easy for us to revisit should we need to in the future.

I had good discussions with your Contract Manager, around the logistics of this activity, and the most efficient way to undertake the works. It was good to have this level of engineering knowledge on site. As a whole we are very happy with the project and would definitely consider Vogal Group for future works.”
