New Mechanical Apprentice

We are delighted to welcome Joe Heppenstall to the Vogal Group team as a Mechanical Apprentice.

Joe joins us with a strong academic foundation from Leeds Beckett University, where he earned a science degree and a Masters in strength and conditioning. During this time, he worked the summers gaining specialised experience in grain analysis within the arable sector. Driven by a desire for a practical, hands-on career in a future-proofed and growing industry, Joe chose to pivot into mechanical engineering with Vogal Group.

At Vogal, we highly value cross-disciplinary skills. Combining Joe's academic background with practical, trade-based mechanical qualifications creates a blend of expertise that will benefit both his career development and our business operations. Joe is already highly adept at using technical diagnostic tools; this apprenticeship will allow him to translate his analytical mindset directly into mechanical troubleshooting.

Outside of work, Joe goes to gigs, plays football socially and tries to spend a lot of time with family and friends.
