Meet the Vogal Group Team: Rob Gault

Rob is an M&E project engineering professional with over 40 years of industry experience. He has held several positions within Vogal Group, demonstrating a long history and deep involvement with the company. He joined us in 2000 as a Contracts Manager and progressed to Contracts Director in 2006. Rob ultimately took on the role of Managing Director in 2010. In this role, he is responsible for the company's P&L, strategic planning, staff organisation, and sales development. He is actively involved in developing the corporate culture for safety and growth strategy.

Rob promotes engineering apprenticeships within Vogal Group. He does this by creating a supportive and successful apprenticeship environment through high-quality training and opportunities for growth. He tells us “I completed my apprenticeship with Timsons Engineering Ltd. (Kettering) who, at the time, manufactured and sold worldwide, forms and book presses. Timsons apprenticeships were regarded throughout Northamptonshire as one of the best………. particularly by Timson employees and ex-employees 😉”

Away from work, Rob is an active member of the Numplumz mountain bike racing team. They are a non-profit making organisation, and as well as taking part in racing, organise an annual charity Mountain Bike Marathon with all proceeds going to local charities.
